A lovely place to stay on a beautiful Hebridean Island |
To reach the island and how to find us in Tobermory
Mull is a large, beautiful Inner Hebridean Island. It is an ideal destination for stunning landscapes and skyscapes. The island has featured on TV programmes exploring the natural habitat, geology and much more. And of course, Tobermory, the capital town, is world-renowned as the principal location for the BBC's CeBeebies Children's programme - "Balamory." Apart from the diverse attractions that will suit both energetic visitors or those just wishing to have a leisurely break from the modern world, Mull also serves as a gateway to the Holy Isle of Iona and the unforgettable volcanic sculpture - the Isle of Staffa.

Mull is reached by road or rail to Oban and thence by car ferry to Craignure. Another route is by the Ballachulish Bridge and Corran Ferry, and then the Lochaline to Fishnish car ferry. During the summer months there is a ferry between Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and Tobermory. There is another pedestrian route operated by a community organisation from Ardnamurchan and Loch Sunart - see the CalMac web site for details. If you bring a car by the Oban-Craignure Ferry, it is best to book in advance in both directions with:
Caledonian MacBrayne Ltd
The Ferry Terminal
Gourock
Scotland PA19 1QP

or contact their website
We recommend that you pre-book your crossing for the Oban - Craignure route. All other routes do not necessarily require pre-booking.
