We are members of VisitScotland, our national Tourist Board. We are 3 Star graded as part of the Board's Quality Assurance Scheme. Comments from their assessment are set out below. The site is a very useful resource, packed with information and hints and tips.

Exterior. "Both the house and garden are in excellent order. Ample off-street parking for guests with great signage and lighting."

Bedrooms. "A very good overall standard of fittings and furnishings."

Bathrooms. "All elements are wearing well with grouting and seals well-maintained. The private bathroom is very spacious with separate shower cubicle. A high standard of co-ordinated linen in all rooms."

Public Areas. "A comfortable conservatory lounge available for guests as a quiet room. Great in the summer, although very well heated in the colder months."

Dining. "All fittings as previous year and remain in excellent order."

Food. "A very good selection of cereals, yoghourts and fruit juice, with a freshly cooked grill dish including potato scones and tasty sausages. Plenty of extras available with jam and marmalade."

Hospitality and Service. "A very pleasant stay with a high level of service at all times. Prompt and chatty breakfast service, with all top-ups offered. Thanks again."
